Ingredients
- 3 Tbsp. onion, chopped
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 2 Tbsp. granulated sugar
- 2 Tbsp. vinegar
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 c. lemon juice
- 1 c. catsup
- 1/2 c. celery, chopped
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
- salt and pepper to taste
Method
- Melt butter in skillet.
- Saute onion and celery until tender. Add remaining ingredients and cook about 15 to 20 minutes so flavors blend.
- Makes 1 1/2 cups of the barbecue sauce.
