Ingredients

  • 2 sticks margarine, softened
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 1/2 c. self-rising flour
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla

Method

  • Cream together margarine and sugar.
  • Mix in eggs and vanilla. Mix together well.
  • Add flour a little at a time until you have worked all the flour in.
  • Chill for 1 hour.
  • Then flour surface and roll out.
  • Remember to keep both sides of dough floured.
  • Cut out and bake.
  • Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 350° until lightly browned.
  • Best if you frost cookies while they are hot. Use a thin glaze.
