- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 (32 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce
- 1/2 c. water
- 2 c. Ricotta or cottage cheese
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 8 lasagne noodles (uncooked)
- 8 oz. Mozzarella cheese, sliced thin
- 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
Method
- In large glass bowl, crumble ground beef.
- Heat at High 3 to 6 minutes or until the beef is no longer pink.
- Stir once; drain. Stir in spaghetti sauce and water.
- Combine Ricotta cheese, egg and pepper.
- In an oblong dish, spoon 1/2 cup sauce, alternate layers of noodles, egg mixture, Mozzarella cheese and sauce.
- Heat covered with plastic wrap at High 8 minutes and at Medium-low 30 minutes or until noodles are fork tender.
