Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 (32 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 2 c. Ricotta or cottage cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 8 lasagne noodles (uncooked)
  • 8 oz. Mozzarella cheese, sliced thin
  • 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese

Method

  • In large glass bowl, crumble ground beef.
  • Heat at High 3 to 6 minutes or until the beef is no longer pink.
  • Stir once; drain. Stir in spaghetti sauce and water.
  • Combine Ricotta cheese, egg and pepper.
  • In an oblong dish, spoon 1/2 cup sauce, alternate layers of noodles, egg mixture, Mozzarella cheese and sauce.
  • Heat covered with plastic wrap at High 8 minutes and at Medium-low 30 minutes or until noodles are fork tender.
