Ingredients

  • 8 oz. pkg. lasagna noodles, uncooked
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 4 c. spaghetti sauce (thick style)
  • 2 c. small curd cottage cheese
  • 3 c. Mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 to 1 c. grated Parmesan cheese

Method

  • Brown meat and drain.
  • Add spaghetti sauce and simmer 10 minutes.
  • Layer in an 8 x 10-inch pan: 1/3 sauce, 1/2 uncooked lasagna pieces, 1 cup cottage cheese and 1/2 of Mozzarella. Repeat layers, ending with sauce.
  • Top with Parmesan cheese.
  • May be refrigerated or frozen at this point.
  • To cook, cover casserole and bake at 350° for 55 to 60 minutes.
  • If casserole is frozen, thaw before baking.
  • Serves 4 to 6.
