Ingredients
- 1 (9 oz.) box yellow or white Jiffy cake mix
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/4 c. hot tap water
- 2 1/2 to 3 c. flour
Method
- Combine cake mix, yeast and salt.
- Add water and flour to make a soft dough (dough will be quite sticky).
- Cover; let rise until double, 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
- Stir down dough and spoon irregular balls of dough into bowl of flour to lightly cover.
- Spoon into lightly greased muffin tins.
- Cover and let rise until double, about 1 hour.
- Bake at 400° for 10 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.
