Ingredients
- 1 1/2 qt. water
- 1 head broccoli (1 1/2-inch stems and flowerets)
- 3/4 c. chopped onion
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. Accent
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 8 oz. grated Velveeta
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 c. milk
- 1/2 c. half and half
- 1/3 c. flour
- 1/2 c. cold water
Method
- Cook broccoli and onion in boiling water for 10 minutes.
- Add salt, Accent, garlic and cheese.
- Stir until cheese melts.
- Add butter, milk and cream; heat to boiling.
- Mix flour and water in jar.
- Shake until smooth.
- Add to soup, stirring until thickened.
