Ingredients
- 1 34 cups all purpose flour
- 12 teaspoon baking powder
- 14 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 12 cup white sugar
- 34 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 12 cup chopped walnuts or 12 cup pecans
Method
- 1.
- Preheat oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C).
- 2.
- Sift together flour, baking powder and salt, set aside.
- In medium bowl
- cream butter and sugar together with wooden spoon.
- 3.
- Add chocolate chips and nuts to butter/sugar mix and stir together.
- 4.
- Stir in dry ingredients - works best if you mix together with your hands.
- Roll dough into walnut size balls.
- Flatten cookies slightly with the.
- palm of your hand and place on cookie sheet.
- 5.
- Bake for 15 to 20 minutes (17 minute in my oven) until light golden
- brown around edges.
- Cookies will be soft in the middle but will firm up
- as they cool.
- 6.
- Leave on cookie sheet for a couple minutes to let them firm up then
- cool on racks.
- Makes 2 dozen cookies.
