Ingredients

  • 1 c. regular rice, uncooked
  • 1 (10 oz.) can mushroom soup, undiluted
  • 2 3/4 c. water
  • 1 (2 to 3 lb.) fryer, cut up
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine, cut in slices

Method

  • Sprinkle the rice into a 13 x 8 x 3-inch baking dish.
  • Combine soup and water; pour over the rice.
  • Place the chicken pieces, skin side up, in the dish.
  • Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  • Place a slice of margarine on each piece of chicken.
  • Bake at 350° for one hour.
