Ingredients
- 1 c. regular rice, uncooked
- 1 (10 oz.) can mushroom soup, undiluted
- 2 3/4 c. water
- 1 (2 to 3 lb.) fryer, cut up
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 2 Tbsp. margarine, cut in slices
Method
- Sprinkle the rice into a 13 x 8 x 3-inch baking dish.
- Combine soup and water; pour over the rice.
- Place the chicken pieces, skin side up, in the dish.
- Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Place a slice of margarine on each piece of chicken.
- Bake at 350° for one hour.
