Ingredients

  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. egg noodles
  • 1 1/2 lb. sirloin tips or top round, cut small
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 (8 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, not drained
  • 1/2 small onion, diced
  • 1/2 c. sour cream
  • 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine

Method

  • Prepare noodles as directed.
  • In small bowl, mix flour, mustard, salt and pepper.
  • Stir in small amount of mushroom liquid until creamy.
  • Cook onion in butter for about 5 minutes.
  • Add meat and cook until done.
  • Add mushrooms and liquid, then add flour mixture.
  • Stir over medium heat until mixture is thickened.
  • Stir in sour cream.
  • Serve over noodles.
