Ingredients
- 2 large Granny Smith apples
- 1 pkg. eight Pillsbury crescent dinner rolls
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. water
- 1 stick butter
Method
- Peel and quarter the apples.
- Wrap one roll around each of the quartered apples.
- Place in a buttered 8-inch baking dish.
- Make the syrup of sugar, water and butter; just let the mixture come to a boil.
- Pour the syrup over the apples.
- Sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg.
- Bake 30 minutes in a 350° oven.
- Serve warm with whipped cream.
