Ingredients

  • 2 large Granny Smith apples
  • 1 pkg. eight Pillsbury crescent dinner rolls
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 stick butter

Method

  • Peel and quarter the apples.
  • Wrap one roll around each of the quartered apples.
  • Place in a buttered 8-inch baking dish.
  • Make the syrup of sugar, water and butter; just let the mixture come to a boil.
  • Pour the syrup over the apples.
  • Sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg.
  • Bake 30 minutes in a 350° oven.
  • Serve warm with whipped cream.
