Ingredients

  • 1 block Atsuage
  • 1 tsp Finely chopped garlic
  • 1 tsp Anchovy paste
  • 1 Red chili peppers (thinly sliced)
  • 1 to fill the frying pan to 1 mm Olive oil

Method

  • This is all you need!
  • I recommend tubed anchovy paste.
  • Prepare the tofu by cutting it into cubes.
  • Heat a frying pan, then fry the atsuage to a crisp over high heat.
  • Brown each side for about 1 minute.
  • After browning the tofu, transfer to a plate and set aside.
  • Heat the olive oil, garlic, anchovy paste, and red chili pepper to prepare the sauce.
  • Heat over low heat until aromatic.
  • There you have it!
  • Drizzle the sauce over the tofu and serve!
  • Garnish with olives or herbs as desired.
