Ingredients

  • 1 c. coconut
  • 1 c. nuts, chopped
  • 1 c. chocolate chips
  • 1 German chocolate cake mix
  • 1 box powdered sugar
  • 1 stick oleo, softened
  • 4 oz. cream cheese

Method

  • Layer chips, nuts and coconut in greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
  • Mix German chocolate cake as directed on box.
  • Pour cake mixture on top of chips, nuts and coconut.
  • Mix powdered sugar, oleo and cream cheese.
  • Mix in mixer.
  • Drop mixture by teaspoon on top of cake mixture. Bake at 350° in oven for 1 hour or until springs back to touch or tests clean on toothpick. Cake will crack much like an earthquake when done.
