Ingredients

  • 1 c. coconut
  • 1 c. nuts, chopped
  • German chocolate cake mix
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese (room temperature)
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 c. powdered sugar

Method

  • Oil bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan.
  • Sprinkle with the coconut and nuts.
  • Prepare the cake mix and pour over the coconut and nuts. Cream the cream cheese, margarine and powdered sugar mixture well. Mixture will be thick.
  • Glob the mixture on the contents in cake pan.
  • Batter will raise to top while baking.
  • Bake at 350° for 45 to 50 minutes.
