Ingredients
- 1 c. coconut
- 1 c. nuts, chopped
- German chocolate cake mix
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese (room temperature)
- 1 stick margarine
- 1 c. powdered sugar
Method
- Oil bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan.
- Sprinkle with the coconut and nuts.
- Prepare the cake mix and pour over the coconut and nuts. Cream the cream cheese, margarine and powdered sugar mixture well. Mixture will be thick.
- Glob the mixture on the contents in cake pan.
- Batter will raise to top while baking.
- Bake at 350° for 45 to 50 minutes.
