Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. pecans, chopped
- 1 box German chocolate cake mix, prepared as directed
- 1 stick margarine
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
- 1 (3 oz.) can coconut
- 1 box powdered sugar
Method
- Use a greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.
- Sprinkle pecans in bottom of pan.
- Sprinkle coconut over pecans.
- Melt butter and cream cheese together.
- Add powdered sugar; mix well.
- Pour cake mix batter over coconut, then cream cheese mixture over cake batter.
- Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
- Remove from heat; cool.
- Cut into squares and serve.
