- 2 lb. round or chuck steak
- 2 Tbsp. seasoned meat tenderizer
- 1 Tbsp. garlic powder
- 1 Tbsp. onion powder
- 2 tsp. curry powder
- 2 pt. sour cream
- 1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- salt to taste
- 1/4 lb. butter
- 1 Spanish onion (medium)
- 2 lb. medium egg noodles
- 4 c. flour
- 1/8 c. vegetable oil
- 1/2 c. water
Method
- Thin slice the steak into 1 x 1/2-inch pieces.
- Stir the meat into a mix of 2 cups of flour, garlic powder, meat tenderizer, onion powder, curry powder and pepper.
- After all the meat is evenly coated, sear by stir-frying in the vegetable oil.
- Empty the cooked meat into large pan.
- Add the sour cream, chopped Spanish onion and Worcestershire sauce.
- Add water and remaining flour while stirring over medium-high heat, creating a smooth, light to medium brown gravy.
- Cook egg noodles; pour gravy mix over and serve.
