Ingredients

  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 1/4 sticks butter
  • dash of salt
  • 1 c. milk
  • 3 c. flour

Method

  • Melt butter; add milk and cool.
  • When cool, add beaten egg and flour.
  • Stir well with spoon or fork.
  • I mix with my hands. Divide into 4 balls.
  • Wrap in Saran Wrap and chill.
  • When well chilled, roll out each ball and cut into 2-inch squares.
  • Place in layers on cookie sheet and freeze.
  • Place wax paper between layers.
  • When frozen, place in plastic bag and seal, then return to freezer until ready to use.
