Ingredients

  • 1 can crushed pineapple with juice
  • 1 can cherry pie filling
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 c. coconut
  • 1/2 c. chopped pecans
  • 1 1/2 sticks margarine

Method

  • Mix crushed pineapple (with juice) and cherry pie filling. Spread in a well-greased 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan.
  • Sprinkle cake mix over top.
  • Mix coconut and pecans; sprinkle over mixture.
  • Slice margarine sticks evenly over top.
  • Bake at 350° for 50 to 60 minutes.
  • May need to cover at mid-point; coconut may burn.
