Ingredients
- 1/2 gal. whole milk
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 lemon
Method
- Pour milk into saucepan.
- Add several drops of lemon juice. Cook over low heat until curdling occurs.
- Add cinnamon and vanilla.
- Continue to cook over low heat.
- (Milk will continue to curdle and get thicker.)
- Add sugar.
- Continue to simmer until mixture is moist, but not soupy.
- Cooking time:
- Approximately 3 to 4 hours.
