- 1 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
- 4 eggs
- 1 1/2 c. (16 oz. can) chocolate syrup
- 2 c. powdered sugar
- 1/2 c. butter, softened
- 1/2 tsp. mint extract
- 6 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
- green food coloring
Method
- Heat oven to 350°.
- Grease 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
- In large mixer bowl, beat flour, sugar, butter, eggs and syrup until smooth (first 5 ingredients).
- Pour into prepared pan; bake 25 minutes. Cool completely in pan.
- Spread Mint Cream Layer over cake (see following); chill.
- Pour Chocolate Topping over dessert (see following).
- Cover; chill.
