Ingredients

  • 4 1/2 tsp. unflavored gelatin
  • 1/4 c. cold lemon juice
  • 1 (20 oz.) can unsweetened sliced apples, well drained
  • 1/4 tsp. vanilla
  • 2/3 c. boiling unsweetened apple juice
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon

Method

  • Soften gelatin in cold lemon juice in blender container for 4 minutes.
  • Add boiling apple juice and blend on high speed until all gelatin granules are dissolved.
  • Add salt, undrained apples, cinnamon and vanilla.
  • Blend until smooth and fluffy.
  • Fill jars, cover and chill.
  • Store in refrigerator.
  • Yields about 3 1/4 cups.
