Ingredients
- Cake:
- 2 cups cake flour
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/2 t salt
- 1 t baking soda
- 1 t vanilla
- 20 oz crushed pineapple
- Topping:
- 5 oz evaporated milk
- 1 1/2 cups butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 cups coconut
- 1 cup pecans
Method
- Cake:
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Mix all ingredients together by hand. Pour into a greased 9x13 pan. Bake for 20-35 minutes
- Topping:
- Mix milk, butter, and sugar. Bring to a boil. Stir in coconut and nuts. Spread on top of cake.
