Ingredients

  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. butterscotch morsels
  • 1/2 c. margarine
  • 1 1/2 c. flour
  • 2/3 c. brown sugar
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 c. miniature marshmallows
  • 1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips (semi-sweet)
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)

Method

  • Melt butterscotch morsels and margarine over low heat and allow to cool.
  • Mix next 6 ingredients well, adding butterscotch mixture. Fold in marshmallows, chocolate chips and nuts.
  • Pour into greased 9 x 12 x 2-inch pan.
  • Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes.
  • Do not overbake.
  • Center will be "jiggly" but will harden as it cools.
