- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. butterscotch morsels
- 1/2 c. margarine
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 2/3 c. brown sugar
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 c. miniature marshmallows
- 1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips (semi-sweet)
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Method
- Melt butterscotch morsels and margarine over low heat and allow to cool.
- Mix next 6 ingredients well, adding butterscotch mixture. Fold in marshmallows, chocolate chips and nuts.
- Pour into greased 9 x 12 x 2-inch pan.
- Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes.
- Do not overbake.
- Center will be "jiggly" but will harden as it cools.
