Ingredients

  • 1/2 stick butter or margarine, softened
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 c. powdered sugar
  • 3 1/2 c. milk
  • 2 (3 1/2 oz. each) pkg. instant vanilla pudding
  • 1 (12 oz.) carton frozen whipped topping
  • 2 (20 oz. each) pkg. Oreo cookies, crushed in food processor or blender

Method

  • Cream butter, cream cheese and powdered sugar.
  • In another bowl, mix milk, pudding and whipped topping.
  • Combine mixtures. Put 1/3 of crushed cookies in bottom of foil-lined clay pot or plastic sand pail.
  • Add 1/2 of pudding mixture.
  • Top with 1/3 of cookies, then remaining filling.
  • Top with rest of cookie crumbs before serving.
  • If desired, add plastic greens or flowers.
  • Serve with a garden spade.
  • Makes 10 to 12 large servings.
  • You can use real flowers.
  • Cut straw in half; insert flower stem, then stick straw into dirt cake.
