Ingredients
- 1/2 stick butter or margarine, softened
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
- 1 c. powdered sugar
- 3 1/2 c. milk
- 2 (3 1/2 oz. each) pkg. instant vanilla pudding
- 1 (12 oz.) carton frozen whipped topping
- 2 (20 oz. each) pkg. Oreo cookies, crushed in food processor or blender
Method
- Cream butter, cream cheese and powdered sugar.
- In another bowl, mix milk, pudding and whipped topping.
- Combine mixtures. Put 1/3 of crushed cookies in bottom of foil-lined clay pot or plastic sand pail.
- Add 1/2 of pudding mixture.
- Top with 1/3 of cookies, then remaining filling.
- Top with rest of cookie crumbs before serving.
- If desired, add plastic greens or flowers.
- Serve with a garden spade.
- Makes 10 to 12 large servings.
- You can use real flowers.
- Cut straw in half; insert flower stem, then stick straw into dirt cake.
