Ingredients
- 1/4 c. lukewarm water
- 2 c. milk (lukewarm)
- 1/2 c. sugar (less if desired)
- 1/2 c. oil or shortening (lukewarm melted)
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 5 c. all-purpose flour
- 2 pkg. dry yeast
- 1/4 tsp. salt
Method
- Gradually add flour to mixture until an elastic dough is formed.
- Knead on a floured board approximately 3 to 5 minutes. Place in a lightly oiled bowl to rise for 1 hour.
- Allow 1 hour to rise, then shape and rise again for 1 hour.
- Then bake, if desired.
