Ingredients
- 3 1/2 c. white vinegar
- 3 1/2 c. water
- 6 Tbsp. pickling salt
- 4 lb. green beans, cleaned
- 21 black peppercorns
- 7 tsp. hot pepper flakes
- 1 Tbsp. mustard seed
- fresh dill
- 7 cloves garlic
Method
- Combine water, vinegar and salt in pan; bring to boil.
- Pack beans in sterilized jars.
- Divide remaining ingredients among jars.
- Pour boiling liquid over, leaving 1/2-inch at top of jar. Seal jars.
- Put in boiling water bath for 20 minutes.
- Makes 7 pints.
