Ingredients
- 3 strips bacon
- 1 stick butter or margarine
- 2 heaping Tbsp. Dijon or other coarse brown mustard
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. basil
- 1 Tbsp. black pepper
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 1 Tbsp. crab boil
- hot sauce to taste
- 1 1/2 lb. peeled deveined uncooked medium shrimp
Method
- Preheat oven to 375°.
- In large skillet, cook bacon, leaving drippings in pan.
- Add butter or margarine to pan and bring to boil.
- Add mustard, basil, pepper, onion and crab boil and reduce heat to simmer.
- Add shrimp to mixture; stir well and cook 3 minutes.
- Pour mixture in casserole dish; cover and cook 20 minutes in oven.
- Serve over cooked pasta or rice.
