Ingredients
- 1/2 c. margarine
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 (1 oz.) squares unsweetened chocolate, melted and cooled
- 2 c. sifted flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 3/4 c. sour cream
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
Method
- Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
- Beat in egg and vanilla. Stir in melted chocolate.
- Add dry ingredients alternately with sour cream.
- Mix well.
- Stir in walnuts.
- Drop by spoonfuls on greased cookie sheets.
- Bake at 350° for 10 to 12 minutes.
- Frost cool cookies with the following:
- 3 cups confectioners sugar, 1 teaspoon butter and few drops lemon juice.
- Sprinkle with crushed nuts.
