Ingredients
- 1 lb. loaf frozen bread dough, thawed
- 4 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
- 1 1/2 lb. lean pork sausage
- 1 1/2 tsp. dried oregano
- 3 cans tomatoes, chopped and drained
- 1/2 c. fresh sliced mushrooms
Method
- Grease 14 x 2-inch pizza pan.
- On flour dusted surface, roll dough into 16-inch circle.
- Press into bottom and 1 1/2-inch up sides of pan.
- Sprinkle with 3 cups Mozzarella.
- Crumble sausage over cheese.
- Top with oregano, tomatoes, mushrooms and remaining cheese.
- Place in 500° oven.
- Immediately reduce to 400°.
- Bake 40 to 50 minutes.
- Remove pizza when crust is golden and sausage is cooked through.
