Ingredients
- 1 c. soft oleo
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. sifted flour
- 2 c. ground pecans
- 1 c. dates, cut up
Method
- Cream oleo and sugar.
- Add vanilla and mix well.
- Add flour and mix.
- Mix in pecans and dates.
- Roll teaspoonfuls of dough in balls.
- Refrigerate balls for 1 to 2 hours.
- Bake at 350° on greased cookie sheet for 20 minutes.
- Remove from oven and roll balls in powdered sugar.
- Sprinkle them again with powdered sugar when cookies have cooled.
