Ingredients
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. chopped dates
- 1 stick margarine
- 3/4 c. sugar
- confectioners sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 3 c. Rice Krispies
Method
- Melt together first 3 ingredients
- on medium heat for about 10 minutes.
- Stir constantly.
- Remove from heat and add one teaspoon vanilla, one cup chopped nuts and three cups Rice Krispies.
- Put in greased pan.
- Cool.
- Cut into small squares. Then shake in bowl with confectioners sugar.
