Ingredients
- 5 c. flour (I like whole wheat)
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 5 tsp. baking soda
- 2 c. All-Bran
- 2 c. wheat germ
- 2 c. 40% bran flakes
- 2 c. chopped dates
- 2 c. chopped walnuts
- 4 eggs, slightly beaten
- 2 c. water
- 1 qt. buttermilk
- 1 c. cooking oil
Method
- Sift together flour, sugar, baking soda and salt.
- Set aside. Combine remaining ingredients in 6-quart bowl.
- Mix well.
- Add dry ingredients, stirring just enough to moisten.
- Fill greased muffin tins 2/3 full.
- Bake at 400° for 20 minutes.
