Ingredients
- 2 sticks butter
- 2 c. sugar (brown)
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. chopped dates
- 4 c. Rice Krispies cereal
- 2 c. chopped pecans
- 1 can coconut
Method
- Melt butter; add sugar and dates.
- Cook 6 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat.
- Add cereal, nuts and coconut. Roll into balls.
- Roll in powdered sugar.
- (Putting several balls in Ziploc bag with powdered sugar and shaking saves a lot of time.)
