Ingredients
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. pitted dates
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 egg, beaten
- 3 c. Rice Krispies
- 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
- 1 pkg. flaked coconut
Method
- Melt butter; add sugar and dates and cool slightly. Add egg, blending well. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Cool slightly. Stir in vanilla, cereal and nuts. Form into small balls and roll in coconut. Be careful; mixture is very hot.
