Ingredients
- 2 medium onions
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can tomato puree
- 1/2 pt. cream
- pinch of salt
- 2 Tbsp. curry powder
Method
- Cook onions gently in butter until glazed.
- Add salt and curry powder.
- Cook as long as you can without browning onions.
- Add puree.
- Bring to boil.
- Cool to lukewarm.
- Heat cream separately to same temperature as sauce.
- Put sauce into cream by tablespoons. Don't boil!
- This goes well with baked chicken, salad, rice and French bread.
