Ingredients

  • 8 c. sliced cucumbers
  • 1 c. sliced bell pepper
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. salt
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. celery seed
  • 1 c. sliced onions
  • 1 c. sliced celery
  • 1 c. vinegar
  • 1 tsp. mustard seed

Method

  • Cover vegetables with salt and let stand for 1 hour. Do not drain. In a bowl, combine sugar, vinegar, celery seed and mustard seed; stir until sugar is dissolved. Add mixture to vegetables and stir. Will keep for several weeks in a Tupperware container.
