Ingredients
- 8 strips bacon, diced or 1 c. cooked sausage
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 1/2 c. prepared biscuit mix
- 3 eggs
- 1/4 c. butter, melted
- dash of pepper
- 1 c. shredded Cheddar or American cheese
Method
- Fry or microwave bacon until crisp; crumble and set aside. If you use sausage, fry until done.
- Combine milk, biscuit mix, eggs, butter and pepper; beat 15 seconds.
- Pour into greased 9-inch pie pan.
- Sprinkle bacon (sausage) and cheese on top of egg mixture; gently press below surface with fork.
- Bake at 350° for 30 minutes or until knife inserted halfway between center and edge comes out clean.
- Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
