Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon margarine
  • 12 cup sesame seeds
  • 1 head green cabbage, shredded
  • 8 green onions, sliced
  • 2 (3 ounce) bags ramen noodles, noodles only, crushed
  • 34 cup almonds, sliced
  • 14 cup sugar
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 13 cup rice vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons salt

Method

  • Brown sesame seeds in margarine.
  • In a large salad bowl, combine cabbage, onions, noodles, almonds and sesame seeds.
  • In a small bowl, mix the last 4 ingredients to make the dressing.
  • Add dressing to salad ingredients just before serving; toss to coat.
