Ingredients

  • 1/2 cups Cracked Wheat Or Quinoa
  • 1-1/2 cup Steel Cut Oats
  • 1/2 cups Rye Flakes Or Barley Flakes
  • 1/2 cups Brown Rice
  • 1/4 cups Wheat Germ
  • 1/4 cups Flax (You Could Wait And Add This Right Before Eating)
  • 1 cup Dried Fruit Such As Raisins, Dates Or Blueberries
  • 6-1/2 cups Water Or Any Combination Of Liquid Such As Milk, Half-and-Half, Or Almond Milk
  • 1 Tablespoon Good Quality Vanilla
  • 1 pinch Nutmeg

Method

  • Place all ingredients in a 3-quart or greater crock pot. Stir well to combine all ingredients. Cover.
  • Set on the lowest cooking temperature (or warm setting) and cook overnight.
  • Spoon into bowls in the morning and serve with desired garnishings such as half-and-half, milk, berries, nuts, sweetener, etc.
