Ingredients

  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 1 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 (2 1/2 to 3 lb.) fryers, cut up
  • 2 Tbsp. oil
  • 1 (6 oz.) can frozen lemonade, thawed
  • 3 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. catsup
  • 1 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch

Method

  • Coat chicken with flour, seasoned with salt.
  • Saute chicken on all sides in oil in skillet until brown.
  • Drain.
  • Place in crock-pot.
  • Stir lemonade concentrate, brown sugar, catsup and vinegar.
  • Cook on high for 3 to 4 hours.
  • Remove chicken.
  • Pour liquid into saucepan.
  • Return chicken to crock-pot.
  • Cover; keep warm.
