Ingredients
- 1 c. margarine
- 2 c. onions, chopped
- 2 c. celery, chopped
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 Tbsp. poultry seasoning
- 2 eggs, well beaten
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 tsp. sage
- 12 to 13 c. dry bread pieces
- 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 c. poultry broth
Method
- Melt margarine in skillet.
- Saute onions and celery.
- Pour over bread.
- Add seasoning; mix well.
- Moisten well with broth. Add eggs; mix well.
- Pack lightly in crock-pot and cover.
- Set on high for 45 minutes.
- Cook on low heat for 4 to 8 hours.
