- 1 1/2 c. onion, chopped
- 1/4 c. celery, chopped
- 1 clove garlic
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 12 oz. chili sauce (Heinz)
- 1/2 c. water
- 3 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 2 Tbsp. vinegar
- 1 tsp. chili powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 3 c. shredded pork (approximately 2 1/2 to 2 3/4 lb. pork loin roast)
Method
- Saute first 4 ingredients (onion, celery, garlic and butter) until tender.
- Put in crock-pot.
- Add remaining ingredients into crock-pot.
- Stir occasionally.
- Cook 3 to 4 hours on low setting. Before serving, add water if too thick, or add flour if too watery.
