Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c. onion, chopped
  • 1/4 c. celery, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 12 oz. chili sauce (Heinz)
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 3 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 1 tsp. chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 3 c. shredded pork (approximately 2 1/2 to 2 3/4 lb. pork loin roast)

Method

  • Saute first 4 ingredients (onion, celery, garlic and butter) until tender.
  • Put in crock-pot.
  • Add remaining ingredients into crock-pot.
  • Stir occasionally.
  • Cook 3 to 4 hours on low setting. Before serving, add water if too thick, or add flour if too watery.
