Ingredients
- 1 c. light brown sugar, packed
- 1 c. white sugar
- 1/2 c. Pet milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 c. white Karo
- 2 Tbsp. oleo
- 1 c. pecans, chopped fine
Method
- Put all ingredients together in saucepan, except vanilla and pecans.
- Stir only until the sugars are dissolved.
- Cook to a soft ball stage (about 235°).
- Remove from heat.
- Add vanilla and pecans and stir just until it starts to get firm (about 4 to 5 minutes).
- Drop on waxed paper or into cupcake papers.
- Makes about 3 dozen.
