Ingredients
- 1/2 c. raisins
- 1 c. boiling water
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 tsp. lemon juice
Method
- Combine raisins and water in saucepan.
- Bring to boil.
- Reduce heat.
- Simmer until raisins are tender.
- Mix sugar and cornstarch. Stir into raisin mixture.
- Cook, stirring constantly, for 10 minutes.
- Remove from heat.
- Add butter and lemon juice.
- Serve over ham, lamb or pork.
