- 8 ounces noodles
- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
- 1 each onions chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 15 ounces tomato sauce
- 16 ounces cream cheese softened
- 1 cup cottage cheese
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 13 cup scallions, spring or green onions
- 1 x parmesan, parmigiano-reggiano cheese, grated
Method
- Cook noodles to desired doneness, drain.
- Brown ground beef, drain.
- Simmer ground beef, onion, salt, pepper and tomato sauce.
- Cream the cream cheese, cottage cheese and sour cream together.
- Add chopped green onions.
- Pour over noodles and mix well.
- Layer noodles and ground beef mixture in casserole dish.
- Top with grated parmesan cheese and bake at 350F (180C).
- for 30 to 40 minutes.
