Ingredients

  • 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen broccoli cuts
  • 1/4 c. salad dressing
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/2 c. shredded sharp process American cheese
  • 1/4 c. milk
  • 1 (10 oz.) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/4 c. fine dry bread crumbs
  • 1 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted

Method

  • Cook frozen broccoli according to package directions, omitting salt.
  • Drain thoroughly.
  • Place in 10 x 6 x 1 1/2-inch baking dish. Mix soup with shredded cheese.
  • Add milk, salad dressing and beaten egg to soup mixture.
  • Stir until well blended.
  • Pour over broccoli. Combine bread crumbs with melted butter; sprinkle evenly over mixture.
  • Bake at 350° for 45 minutes until crumbs are lightly browned.
  • Serves 6.
