Ingredients

  • 1 box linguine
  • 3 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tbsp cajun seasoning
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 2 chopped red bell peppers
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 2 thinly sliced green onions
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp basil
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 pints heavy cream

Method

  • Cut chicken into thin slices
  • Place sliced chicken and cajun seasoning into a bowl and toss to coat
  • Prepare linguine using the directions on the box
  • In a large skillet saute chicken in butter on medium heat for 5-7 minutes
  • Add bell peppers, celery, green onions, basil, garlic powder, salt and black pepper to skillet and cook until peppers are tender, 5-7 minutes
  • Reduce heat to skillet, add heavy cream and heat through
  • Pour over linguine
