Ingredients

  • 1/4 pound dry beef
  • 3 tbsp. butter
  • 3 tbsp. flour
  • 2 c. lowfat milk
  • Pepper

Method

  • Shred beef into smaller pcs.
  • Soak meat in warm water for a few min and drain if you think it's too salty.
  • Heat butter in fry pan and add in meat to this, stirring for a couple of min.
  • Sprinkle flour over this and mix well.
  • Slowly add in lowfat milk, continue to stir and cook over low heat till thickened.
  • Season with pepper.
  • Salt if you like.
  • Great with potatoes or possibly on buttered toast.
  • Serves 2-3.
