Ingredients
- 1/4 pound dry beef
- 3 tbsp. butter
- 3 tbsp. flour
- 2 c. lowfat milk
- Pepper
Method
- Shred beef into smaller pcs.
- Soak meat in warm water for a few min and drain if you think it's too salty.
- Heat butter in fry pan and add in meat to this, stirring for a couple of min.
- Sprinkle flour over this and mix well.
- Slowly add in lowfat milk, continue to stir and cook over low heat till thickened.
- Season with pepper.
- Salt if you like.
- Great with potatoes or possibly on buttered toast.
- Serves 2-3.
