Ingredients
- 1/2 c. toasted almonds (optional)
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 pt. heavy cream
- 1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
- 1/4 c. dark rum
- 4 egg yolks
Method
- Combine sugar and water in a small pan and boil for 3 minutes. With steel blade in place, add cream to the mixing container of food processor.
- Process until very thick whipping cream forms, about 1 minute.
- Transfer to 2-quart mold.
