Ingredients

  • 1 c. water
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. all-purpose flour, sift with sifter
  • 4 eggs
  • chocolate pudding and vanilla pudding (cook pudding mix)
  • powdered sugar
  • chocolate icing

Method

  • Put water, salt and butter in pot; let come to boil.
  • Turn heat low.
  • Pour flour in pot.
  • Mix until mixture leaves side of pot.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Add 1 egg at a time.
  • Flour will break into pieces.
  • Keep beating until mixture comes to a ball.
  • Cook pudding and cool.
  • Take 1 teaspoon flour and small bowl of water to wet fingers.
  • Shape and put on cookie sheet.
  • Bake until golden brown at 350°.
  • After cool, use a catsup squeezer to fill shells. Put pudding at end of shell.
  • Sprinkle powdered sugar on cream puffs and chocolate icing for eclairs.
