Ingredients
- 1 (14 1/2 oz.) can chicken broth
- 1 c. milk or heavy cream
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. minced fresh parsley
- 1/4 tsp. white pepper
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 1/2 c. finely chopped broccoli
- broccoli florets (for garnish)
Method
- Combine all ingredients, except broccoli, in 2-quart pan. Stir until cornstarch is dissolved.
- Add broccoli; cook on medium until broccoli is tender, stirring occasionally.
- Garnish with broccoli florets.
